92 million tonnes of textile waste is produced every year internationally. So much fabric is produced for clothing companies, the fabric scraps, and even rolls of unused fabric end up in thrift stores, dead-stock fabric stores (dead-stock is left over fabric from fashion brands that would regularly be discarded), or landfills. I search for my fabric from these sources to ensure that im contributing as little waste as possible. There is so much cool fabric out there just waiting to be made in to something!
